PhD, Computer Science Lancaster University, Lancaster UK Thesis: "Digital Live Art: Mediating Wittingness in Playful Arenas". Introduced the concepts of "Digital Live Art", "wittingness and unwitting" "Performance Triad Model" (interaction between unwitting and witting bystanders, participants and performers) and users as participant-performers. Description of the design, development, build and performance of several Digital Live Artworks including iPoi which focused on using acceleration to drive visual and audio output over a wireless peer-to-peer network. |
